PA to Headteacher

Fixed term for one year

£20,727 - £24,964 per annum, proportionately reduced for part time working

Hours: 37 hours per week x 46.987 total paid weeks per year, term time only

(there is potential for some additional flexible hours during school holidays if required)

This position will require the successful candidate to: 

  • undertake all confidential PA duties for the Headteacher
  • undertake project work as required by the Headteacher
  • provide a fundamental contribution to facilitating the effective communications and operations of the school
  • demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • show flexibility and initiative
  • prioritise  workloads effectively
  • have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • be fully competent in Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc
  • have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths, grade C and above/relevant level 3 qualifications

Mathematics Teaching Assistant

(Temporary to cover maternity)

30 hours per week, term time only (44.263 total paid weeks)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant for our Mathematics Faculty to cover the maternity leave of the existing postholder. The successful candidate will assist classroom teachers, work with small groups and support the progress of our students.  The post is temporary and subject to the usual provisos associated with a maternity cover. 

Applicants will need: 

· English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent

· Good organisational skills

· A good standard of computer literacy

· The ability to work with young people
